Unsafe environments around us in the modern day world have prompted many of us to use some self defense products. The days when you could use arms and weapons freely are long past and unless you are a law breaker you may not have any legal means to carry and use weapons with you. Moreover, in self defense your aim is never to kill or seriously injure the attacker but you wish to have a safe way deploying which you can defend yourself well.
Self defense products like the mace pepper spray serve the purpose in an excellent way. However, certain legal aspects are required to be taken care of before you use such pepper spray in self defense. Remember, it is your responsibility to ascertain the legalities of anything you are using.
There are states like New York and Massachusetts who prefer self defense gadgets like the telephone voice changer v and have banned the use of pepper spray. Michigan and Wisconsin have imposed restrictions on the use of pepper sprays in their states. In Michigan you can use pepper spray but the pepper concentration must be limited to 2% only. No combination spray can be used here. In Wisconsin you can use pepper only with a 10% concentration.
In other states of United States the use of pepper sprays are preferred in comparison to the devices like the mace alarm and flashlight because of its instant applicability while facing imminent threat or danger.
