The interaction between you, your kid and nature can be a life time experience which will stick in your kid’s mind for eons if well planned and executed. The most important step before proceeding to the backcountry is to equip you and your kid with all necessary things as carrier bags as camelbak and deuter bags to carry your things, acquire outdoor sleeping bags preferably from sierra designs, water bottles as SIGGS flower water bottles, emergency light as petzl +Lite emergency headlamps for night enjoyment and safety, shoulder harness as from deuter; to reduce the load impact on the kid’s shoulders, portable air basin as air to sea basin, tents and clothing for camping and hiking from sierra designs.
Camping involves the normal house chores as washing and cooking, so you should be well equipped depending on the number of days you intend to stay and the distance from civilization you will be.
